HBO recently announced that its hit series Game of Thrones, based on George RR Martin books, will shoot part of the next season in several nature locations of Seville, capital of Andalusia (Spain). It seems that Seville's wonderful Alcazar looks similar to the kingdom of Dorne described in these fantasy novels. The Andalusians know what it means to have a filming of these characteristic within its territory: investment and employment. And they know that because Andalusia and its light have been the favorite destination of many other Hollywood blockbusters. Walking through the corridors of Seville's Alcazar means being surrounded by Islamic, Moorish and Gothic art. Almost a dream come true and something that seems to have tipped the balance of Game of Thrones. Why Seville? We have it clear.
