A (traveler) coffee in Strasbourg

As we leave the Entzheim-Strasbourg airport, the green fields of Alsatia in Northern France seems to extend to the horizon. After a somewhat turbulent flight, the small houses interspersed on both sides of the road and the clouds covering the sky partially return us to an almost homey feeling, a sensation that this part of the country usually offers the traveler. The greenness of the trees begins to merge mixed with the shiny glass of some modern buildings that anticipate the first houses of pitched roofs and dark wooden of the city. Strasbourg is a fairytale which materializes before us around the corner of Quai Saint-Nicolas, when getting lost among wooden houses we left behind the edge of the Ill River to cross a bridge that puts us squarely in the medieval architecture of one of the most beautiful cities in France.
